Computer integrated systems design is often sold as a box of hardware. We treat it as a drawing problem first. A production line is a sequence of decisions that machines make on behalf of the operator, and each decision deserves a line, a number and a terminal reference before a single cable is pulled. The Six Drawers
Each service lives in its own half-open drawer of the cabinet bank. Two offset columns, three drawers apiece, so no two sheets ever sit at the same height and no revision hides behind another. Every name below links into the full services page.
We draft the architecture of your line before hardware is chosen: power distribution, controller placement, I/O count, signal types and the terminal references that will appear on every field drawing. The schematic drawer is the single source of truth.
Logic and screen are written together so the operator sees exactly what the program decides. We map every tag to a faceplate, every alarm to a message line and every mode change to a guarded button, then test the pair on the bench.
Proximity, photoelectric, pressure, flow, temperature and encoder signals are selected and routed as a network rather than a pile of cables. We document ranges, response times and mounting rules so the floor can feel its own state.
Guarding, e-stop chains and start-permissive logic are engineered so a machine physically cannot move while a gate is open or a person is exposed. Interlocks are drawn as hard logic and mirrored in the controller.
As-BuiltCycle counts, temperatures, reject reasons and alarm history flow to a backend that stores them in order and serves them to a report. We design the database, the retention rules and the retrieval view together.
One engineer walks the floor with the drawing, proves each loop, tunes each setpoint and hands over an as-built revision. The studio stays reachable for the tuning weeks that follow, because a first cycle is not a finished line.
A cabinet keeps drawings at right angles to chaos. Five drawer fronts, six flat files and one title block can describe a whole factory floor without losing a single terminal number.
A control system that is designed on a light table and then proven on a floor has two lives, and both must be documented. In the studio, the drawing lives as a trace on a glowing glass face: a signal path in teal, a dimension line in blue, a title block that names the company, the project, the sheet number and the revision.
